At Family Alliance Care , we are dedicated to enhancing the lives of I/DD in the tri-state Cincinnati, Ohio area by offering compassionate, customized day-to-day care and support. Focused exclusively on serving eligible clients of the Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD), we champion self-determination, independence, and active lifestyles through a person-centered approach. Whether in the home or out in the community, our services are designed to empower the individuals we serve to make choices that enrich their lives.
Our services range from Homemaker/Personal Care, Participant-Directed HPC (PD-HPC), Supported Living, Shared Living, HPC Transportation, Non-Medical Transportation (NMT), and Certified Medication Administration.
Meet the Team
My name is Tera Campbell, and I am the Founder and CEO of Family Alliance Care, LLC. I began my career as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in 2001, where I discovered my true passion. I earned an Associate Degree in Social Work in 2003 and a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Addictions in 2005, both from the University of Cincinnati. Additionally, I attended the Brown County Police Academy and served as a Police Officer with the Williamsburg Police Department from 2004 to 2012.
In June 2020, I founded Family Alliance Care. Throughout my career, I have held various leadership roles, including Head of Human Resources, Residential Manager, and Director of Operations. However, I have always maintained my commitment to working as a Direct Support Professional.
As Family Alliance Care continues to grow, my mission is to provide exceptional care, positively impact the lives of the individuals we support, and foster a fun, inclusive environment for everyone we serve.

With annual training requirements, thorough background checks, and certifications including a valid driver’s license and current car insurance, our employees are prepared to provide safe and reliable care, both at home and in the community.
